Reaching out to local and international communicators and students, the Asian Institute of Journalism and Communication (AIJC) will launch its first free online Master Class on 28 September 2020 at 10:30 a.m. Manila time.
The topic for the AIJC Master Class this September is on How to Use Mind Maps for Excellent Writing. It will include both a lecture and workshop.
During the session, attendees will be able to In the AIJC Master Class and Online Information Session, you will be able to practice the steps to undertake BEFORE writing any piece; create a mind map as preliminary means of unleashing the left brain’s productive powers; and turn the mind map into an outline, which will give a writing piece the structure it will need.
Those who register will produce their own mind map, learn how to turn it into an outline, and receive handouts after the event.
Dr. Paz H. Diaz, Vice President for Academics, will handle the session. She has over 40 years of experience in the field of communications. She has worked in developing countries in Asia and Africa as a consultant and a trainer. She was a training specialist in the UP Institute for Small-Scale Industries and a faculty member of the UP College of Mass Communication. She was also formerly dean of the Faculty of Management and Development Studies of the UP Open University.
Besides Dr. Paz H. Diaz, the AIJC Master Class participants can also look forward to meeting an alumnus who will talk about her AIJC Graduate School experience. The Graduate School team will also be on hand to answer any questions.
