Course Description
This is a training course designed to enhance the basic business writing skills of participants. It combines lectures with writing exercises to sharpen the participants’ ability to spot grammatical errors and improve content of business manuscripts. This training will be conducted virtually for two days.
The session will be on 19-20 November, 2020.
The public and our participants will be informed if there are changes in the training schedule.
Who Should Attend
This course is recommended for next-in-line supervisors and middle managers who review business communication materials, whether intended for internal or external audiences. It will serve as a refresher session for those who want to be updated on the latest editorial practices that may be applied in the workplace.

Learning Setup
The training will be conducted using online video-conferencing facilities that will be hosted by AIJC. The link to the training session will be shared only with the Resource Person and the training participants for uninterrupted learning. Participants need to ensure their access to reliable internet connectivity during the training sessions.
Course Benefits
At the end of the course, the participants will be able to:
- organize content for workplace manuscripts or documents using outlining techniques;
- recognize passive versus active voice in written communication;
- correct grammatical errors in common workplace manuscripts such as memoranda, letters, and advisories; and

Course Investment
Course fee is PHP13,500.00 per person. Desired class size is at least 10 and a maximum of 20 participants. For in-house training, course fee and schedule may change based on the client’s customized needs and availability.
