Rodrigo G. Cornejo

Mr. Rod Cornejo is an integrated marketing communications consultant and media manager who served as Special Assistant to the President and Head of Community Relations of GMA Network, Inc. He is a member of the Board of Directors of GMA Kapuso Foundation and a trustee of the Asian Institute of Journalism and Communication. He specializes in the fields of advertising & promotions, public relations, sales & marketing, Christian Ministry, community relations, and education. He is alternate commissioner of the Pasig River Rehabilitation Commission and serves as chairman of the Committee on Communication of Habitat for Humanity Phils. Foundation.  He also serves as Representative of the Trustee of United Way Philippines. He was a faculty member of the Communication Arts Department at Miriam College and guest lecturer at the Marketing Management Department of De La Salle University Manila. He sits on the Board of Trustees of the National Prison Ministries Philippines, Inc., and is a member of the Coalition for Restorative Justice and the National Committee on the Filipino Family.  He is also a founding member of the Coalition for Decency and Morality (CODE: M), is a member of the Philippine Alliance Against Pornography, Mamamayan Laban sa Jueteng (Jueteng-Free Philippines), and Manila Overseas Press Club, Samahang Plaridel,   Philippine Association of Public Relations Counselors,  Philippine Business for the Environment , Philippine Business for Education, Metrobank Foundation Teachers Month Program Steering Committee,  Earth Day Network Philippines, and the Philippine Association of Communication Educators. Mr. Cornejo is also a member of various media coffee shops/fora such as the Tuesday Club at EDSA Shangri-la, Mandaluyong,  Fernandina Media Forum at Citio Fernandina, Greenhills, San Juan, and Usaping Balita sa Quezon at Serye Restaurant, Quezon Memorial Circle. He is former Commissioner of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, Immediate Past President of the Southeast Asian Foundation for Children’s Television, and a former Executive Director of Prison Fellowship Philippines. Mr. Cornejo holds a B.S.B.A. Major in Marketing graduate from the University of the East.
