AIJC classes for Master of Arts in Communication, Master of Arts in Journalism set to start October 5

The Asian Institute of Journalism and Communication (AIJC) will officially begin classes on October 5, 2026, for the First Trimester of Academic Year 2026–2027, welcoming new and continuing graduate students in the Master of Arts in Journalism and Master of Arts in Communication programs.

The First Trimester lineup features courses led by industry practitioners and experienced academics whose expertise spans communication, journalism, governance, research, and media practice:

  2. Management of Communication Resources

AIJC is welcoming two new award-winning journalists to its faculty: Mariejo Ramos and Krixia Subingsubing. Both faculty members bring extensive field experience and technical expertise in ethical news reporting and media practice.

“At AIJC, we remain committed to providing graduate education that evolves with the times and remains relevant to the work of our students,” said AIJC President Therese San Diego Torres. “We want them to leave the classroom with ethical and theoretical grounding, research capabilities, and practical knowledge and skills they can apply immediately in their workplace.”

Meanwhile, enrollment remains ongoing for the Master in Communication Major in Public Relations and Corporate Communication program, with classes scheduled to start November 7.
