Simplifying highly specialized information and complex ideas to clear and concise content are the primary objectives of technical writing and editing. Both public and private sector practices rely on technical writing to provide instructions and explain technical concepts (e.g. instruction manuals, product descriptions, business proposals, resolutions), communicating ideas to colleagues, clients, customers, and the public.
The Asian Institute of Journalism and Communication – Professional Development Program offers this two-day course to help the participants gain fundamental skills in technical writing and editing, with generative AI as a tool. This will allow participants to sharpen their focus by understanding the necessity of the writing and editing process, producing excellent outputs, and contributing to the establishment of credibility and professionalism in the workplace.
With this course, participants will gain valuable communication skills that will allow businesses, industries, and governments to function with clarity.
