This webinar will cover the definition, origins, and uses of a tariff, with a focus on its application in the context of Philippine foreign trade. It will help participants understand current issues surrounding the unilateral tariff actions of the United States and their implications for the future of the Philippines’ trade relations and economic development.

Journalists will find value in this webinar as it aims to assist the media in their role of communicating development challenges and contributing positively to public policy discussions arising from U.S. tariff actions.

Researchers, academics, and other non-media participants are also welcome to join.

What You’ll Learn

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
